FAQ

Every guest should make a binding booking at least 48 hours before the start of the Tour using our booking form, by E-mail, info@7seenbybike.de, or by Telephone on +49(0)176 50155324. After registration you will receive a booking confirmation/invoice by E-mail. Short-term bookings cannot be guaranteed, but of course we will always try to make a Tour possible.

All our Tours start at the “Große Radwelt” in Markkleeberg, Städtelner Strasse 58 https://www.google.de/maps/ which is located next to the MARKTKAUF Supermarket. There you can also rent Bikes if needed https://www.e-bike-erlebnis.de/online-buchung-ebike/ and there are plenty of parking spaces and shopping facilities.

Every confirmed booking is mandatory. Of course we watch the weather forecast very closely. As we do not want to ride our Bikes in the pouring rain either, we cancel all booked Tours if the weather is too bad, of course free of charge, or we will find an alternative date with a better weather forecast. In case of cancellation due to weather conditions we will contact you by E-mail or Phone. If you are unsure about the weather, please contact us by E-mail, info@7seenbybike.de, or by Phone at +49(0)176 50155324.

For a rental Bike you need an official ID, whose number will be noted on the rental contract. Unfortunately, no rental Bike can be issued without the presentation of an Identification Document (Identity Card, Driving Licence or Passport).

It is not possible to rent a Bike just against a deposit.

For participation in a Tour with 7SeenbyBike we strongly recommend a bicycle Helmet! In Germany there is no Helmet obligation on the Bike, but we reserve the right to exclude guests without a Helmet from the Tour. Bicycle Helmets, as well as baskets, trailers and child seats can also be rented from the Grosse Radwelt for a fee at https://www.e-bike-erlebnis.de/online-buchung-ebike/. Please reserve in time. A drinking bottle is also very useful. And don’t forget sun protection.

For small luggage (sunscreen, mobile Phone, papers…) it is best to bring a small backpack or Bicycle bag.

We recommend comfortable, sporty clothes, if available. Cycling shorts, jersey, etc. are welcome to wear. Our Tours are no races and we stop at many points worth seeing, but we are Cycling(!). A wind- and rain protection (depending on the weather forecast) would also be very useful.

Each Tour can be booked individually at a the desired date for groups of 2 – 20 guests. The conditions are listed in the Tour descriptions.

In case of a group booking, the start and end point of each Tour can be varied, depending on your wishes. The rental Bikes can also be transported to your hotel if necessary. For this a fee can apply.

Every guest is responsible for the observance of the traffic rules. The Instructions of the Tour Guide must be followed. In case of gross violations, the Guide is always entitled to exclude a guest from continuing the Tour. In this case no right of recourse will then arise. The Tours are active Outdoor experiences and each guest must ensure that he or she is up to the challenge.

You are responsible for breakdowns on your own Bicycle. However, your Guide always has some tools, spare tubes etc. along. Regarding rental Bikes, your Guide or the rental Company will take care of repair or replacement. A small first Aid kit is also carried by your Guide.

Basically the Tours are designed for guests with their own Bikes. Rental Bikes and rental conditions can be found at https://www.e-bike-erlebnis.de/online-buchung-ebike/

Your own Bicycles must be roadworthy, in case of gross violations the guest can be excluded from the Tour. Of course you can also take part with an E-bike.

Payment for our tours can be made online via our registration form with the usual credit cards, or in cash before the tour starts. A ATM is located very close to our starting point. Of course we can issue an invoice on request.

There are no hidden costs on our tours. All our prices are final prices including the prescribed value added tax, which we will gladly show you.

>Catering is available on the route, as you can see in the Tour description, and is not included in the Tour price. Every guest should also ensure that they have an adequate supply of water before the Tour starts.

We take many short breaks along the way, on hot days there are also extra drinking breaks, and of course every guest can bring and eat their own food. We know good, and budget Restaurants/Cafés on our Tours, but every consumption is of course up to you. We do not receive any commission from Cafés or Restaurants for your consumption.

For all questions not listed here, please send us an E-mail to  info@7seenbybike.de or call us at +49(0)176 50155324.

7Seen by bike Tours

Our Tours through the Neuseenland and the rural surroundings of Leipzig are made for Guests who would like to actively experience the eventful past of the Saxon lowlands. Even today, the landscape is still partly shaped by the dimensions of the former open-cast mines. But nature is recapturing the terrain. Reforested areas and the filling of the open-cast mine waste holes give the landscape a new image and have created a new Saxon lake landscape. Thus, old wounds and a barren lunar landscape have been turned into a new holiday paradise with green shores, inviting sandy beaches and a modern tourist infrastructure.

We would like to take you with us and show you special places, beautiful viewpoints and hidden sights on simple cycle paths and small side roads with little traffic. On the way we will make many stops and tell you interesting facts, humorous anecdotes and also one or two legends. The bicycle is the ideal means of transport for this. You can cover considerable distances relatively quickly and with little effort! You can use almost the entire network of ways, even hidden paths! You protect the environment, you do something good for yourself and your body; and we are quiet – a rare Commodity in our noisy times!
